This is fully automatic Test Bench which is used to perform the endurance test on Brake Cylinder. In this Test Bench, there are two Independent working platforms. On each platform there are 10 output port (Total 20 Ports) with needle valve on each port to perform the endurance test. There are 2 Hydro-Pneumatic Booster Pump (Boost Ratio – 51) to build the pressure up to 255 Bar. These pumps are actuated by Electro-Pneumatic Pressure Regulator (EPR). This EPR is finally controlled by NI DAQ card. There are total six pressure sensors (2 Internal + 4 External) in the test bench.

The structure of the test bench was developed with Extruded Aluminium Profile Section with wheel and levelling pads. The internals hydraulic high pressure hose pipe lines are selected to bear the pressure up to 400 Bar. All pipe lines and fittings are sealed with Loctite to avoid leakage in a long run time up to 4 Million test cycles. Electrical Panel is isolated and kept on back side of the test bench, hence there is an ease as per maintenance point of view. The test bench is fully covered with SS sheet. The right side of the bench was extended with plywood to keep Laptop/Desktop.

There are two types of test that can be perform on this test bench, selected by the User on SW screen.

1. Bleeding Test
2. Endurance Test

The test bench has a capability to
perform complete endurance test and
store the results of each test cycle
automatically. The total test records can
goes up to 100 million cycles in MySQL
database and can be fetch in different
format as per requirement.
