Performance Testing Machine:-

This machine was used to check the performance of RBS (Recirculating Ball Screw) in connection with Steering. Our Task is to develop the Software in LabVIEW to perform the test, data acquisition and report generation. The Electrical Circuit has been modified as per the requirement.

In the test we calculate the parameters (Preload Torque, Total Torque & Mesh Load Neutral) as per the waveform generated on the graph. This machine can perform the test on 6 different models of RBS. During test a plot of Torque Vs Angle has been drawn on graph for both LH & RH.

In setting window we can set the speed of servo motor, set the counter values and edit or delete the existing or new models. After completion of the test a report has been generated in word format and stored on the location defined by the user.
