Sector Shaft Testing Machine

This machine was used to check the parameters of the component called Sector Shaft. Earlier the whole system was operated on DOS based OS. Our task is to replace the DOS based OS to Win7 based OS, improve the measurement accuracy (by replacing the Sensors & Data Acquisition xCard), reliability and to generate the report after completion of test.

In this system, there are two sensors, one is used for Angle measurement and another is used for displacement measurement (LVDT). For Angle measurement again we have two configurable options (Potentiometer and Encoder). An Operator can select any sensor from the software for angle measurement as per the requirement. The sector shaft is placed in the Hole available in the center and rotated manually up to an angle from -45Ο
to 45 Ο & then system will show the waveform & result after Analysis. A report for each test component will be generated and saved in the system HDD.
